Summer is here, unfortunately. But at least my apartment is nice and cool, unlike the hell outside.
Jokes aside, I realised I forgot to upload my Raziel and Revenant drawings even though I put one of them on RedBubble ages ago. Perhaps this summer I'll have some time to do more art. Fingers crossed. I also want to get back to publishing things on this website and adding other things like photos of food and also vide game reviews, as I mentioned in one of the previous entries. Anyhow, good luck surviving the summer, everyone. Except for people who are lucky enough to live in places where it's never hot. Sounds like paradise.

These wonderful prints were signed live on Streamily by Scott Joseph, the voice actor of the Emperor from Baldur's Gate 3. The artist is Shade Of Stars.
I bought the first one as a birthday gift to myself in 2024, just a week or so before the second one became available on the website. I just needed to have that royal portrait of the Emperor, so I decided to treat myself to another one. After all, it's not like I do this sort of thing every day. The doodles Scott drew make me smile every time I see them 😄🦑❤️ So wholesome. Scott is also such a good sport who always replies to tweets and people's art. It's high-time I revamped this web site. I have a long weekend, so hopefully I can do it then.
In the meantime, just wanted to say I decided to no longer be a part of DeviantArt. When I first joined in 2003, it was a real community and I met so many friends there. Some of them are still good friends almost two decades later. However, DA has long-since stopped being anything similar to what it was. It seems to mostly be 'AI art' and there generally isn't any reason to stick around there anymore. I need to update this website and maybe finish some of the art I've been working on. If I find the time between being dragged into games with friends, or spacing into one alone, haha. I am not complaining though. A friend reminded me that I haven't updated this site in ages. I do have a few older pieces to post.
I haven't been drawing a lot but I am doing really well and enjoying my 4th playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3. Who knows, maybe there will be some BG3-related art in the future. Such a fabulous game; not that I expected any less from the creators of Divinity Original Sin 2. I recently gifted it to a friend, as well. It's awesome and quite exciting to be able to share that experience with her and talk about this awesome game. Singing Revenant was the highest point of Apex, alongside all of the cinematics, story and events revolving his rework.
x.com/PlayApex/status/1730678295874723957 I absolutely love the fact that they did this 😂 ❤️ This is one part of the drawing of the three versions of Raziel I was working on.
Raziel and Legacy of Kain played such a huge role in my life growing up, and he remained one of my favourite characters up to this very day. Michael Bell's voice acting in the game was just superb. I wasn't really a fan of Revenant until the Reborn redesign. I really loved this banner pose and used it all the time before I got the heirloom one. The story and events surrounding his redesign were the highest point of Apex.
Revenant and my friends are the only reason I still play Apex Legends. There is nothing like a really bad experience to remind you how precious the wholesome people and relationships in your life are. I feel so grateful for my old friends and all the new friends I've made on the way.
I also owe my friend's niece a cat drawing 😸 This is such a good year ❤️ It's my birthday and I finally got around to getting myself a gift I wanted for a while - a cameo of Michael Bell as Raziel saying something positive and uplifting ^_^ He did such a marvellous job and it's such a perfect birthday gift. After the last two years, I definitely deserved to treat myself with something good. Bless Michael for being so timelessly awesome, just like Raziel <3 Now to spend the day with my two awesome friends - the Kain to my Raziel and my fellow Angel of Awesomeness. Thank you, guys. It's been quite a while so I am just checking in.
The title quote is appropriate for the past two years of my life and the final outcome. Glad to be here, stronger, wiser and better than ever. It's always sad learning how empty and toxic some people can be, but it's a valuable lesson. I still need to finish my Raziel drawings some day. Peace and love, Milena It's been a while since my last update here. I've been thinking of finding an additional place to post various things, including my plant-based food pictures and recipes, reviews for the few video games I like and more. I don't find most popular 'social' networks appealing or functional so I am still looking into this.
On a more positive note, I've had an idea for a little project months ago and I've finally gotten around to working on it. It's related to one of my all-time favourite characters - Raziel from Legacy of Kain. I am yet to start working on it digitally but I've very much enjoyed doing the pencil sketches. Considering how little drawing I've done in the past few years, I am quite impressed and happy about how well they turned out. Let's hope the finished version will be good. That's it for now. Thanks to everyone who visited the website. Have a good spring. A tribute to my old Legacy of Kain original character and avatar – Winged Eddina. Her face was traced over an actual photograph of me. I actually made a Chiss version as well, just for fun.
Did some minor redesigning of the site. I am yet to upload a few new pieces of art.
I decided to make a new Redbubble shop called StardreamArt just for the sake of it having a more similar name to my web site. Redbubble did inform me that they will allow us to change usernames in the future, which is something I look forward to.
I am slowly beginning to set up my shop on Redbubble.com. I originally discovered the site when I was looking for some fan art merchandise. One of the reasons they stand out for me is the large selection of different female clothing that's not just t-shirts. I just love their racerback tops <3.
A drawing of Janos Audron I did in 2020 after replaying some bits of the Legacy of Kain series. For those who were a part of the LoK community back then, I was Winged Eddina and ran a site that hosted LoK fan art done by myself and other people . This game series is one of the good memories from rather bad period of time. The complexity of the story still leaves me in awe every time I think of this series or see something related to it. The idea was to possibly ink and colour this digitally at some point but we'll see if it happens. Done on 26.06.2020. Happy 2020, everyone. Hopefully I'll get around to doing more art soon. In the meantime, I've finally gotten around to adding some old pieces here and to my DeviantArt page.
Commissions are open so feel free to contact me if you want anything done. For more info, check out the 'Commissions' page. Peace and love. Since I had so much fun drawing Blackadder the Third in Castle Cats (Android game) style, I decided to draw all of them. This was so much fun.
Their design was inspired by black Maine Coon cats. The original drawing of Blackadder the Third as a Castle Cat can be found here. My drawing of all four Blackadders in realistic human style can be found here. Done on the 10th of July 2019. Castle Cats was having a design-a-cat competition. I wasn't going to enter but it made me think it would be funny to turn Blackadder into a cat. I am glad I did this because it was so much fun and I love how it turned out.
This was done around the 25th of June but I am finally posting it today in honour of the news that there might be a fifth season or a new special of Blackadder in the making. Life is always better with more Blackadder. All four Blackadders in Castle Cats style can be found here. My tribute drawing of all four Blackadders can be found here. |
